A day with Hellroaring Powder Guides starts at a time your choosing, usually around 9:00 AM to ensure there is plenty of time to get the most out of your day. Once the group is gathered we’ll go over some packing instructions and get everyone’s gear loaded behind our snowmobiles. Once loaded we’ll breif on the weather and current conditions before snowmobiling in to the trail head. Our ride usually lasts about 45 min, and provides incredible views as we cross the Continental Divide. Once we reach our desired destination we don skis and packs. If your group is headed to the hut, we’ll follow the renowned Continental Divide Trail for approximately 2 3/4 miles of gradual elevation gain to reach the hut. If you are out for just a day tour, we’ll carefully choose an objective that matches your groups ability level. Lunches are included in the price of a day tour, however participants are expected to bring their own snacks etc. for the day. Your Hellroaring guide will ski youre group to the safest and best ski conditions for the day, whether we go for a summit, or just a fun ski line, it’s up to you! We’ll start skiing back towards the snowmobiles around 3:00 PM to ensure we get back to the vehicles by dark. A brief snowmobile ride home allows us to examine our work on the slopes above before we finish the day. All trips are custom tailed to your groups needs and ability’s, feel free to make additional requests as we will do our best to accommodate your group.
